We complete many “Periodic Inspection and Tests”, mainly on Industrial premises, and are approved by various leading insurance companies. We test from small sites with 1 Distribution Board to larger sites with over 50; on completion, we issue a comprehensive documentation pack comprising; Installation Certificate, full circuit charts and recorded test results for the installation. Perhaps the biggest benefit to the plant engineer is that we trace and identify every circuit of the installation (where practical), then using our easy to follow comprehensive identification scheme we label Distribution Boards, Control Gear and Wiring Accessories, so they can be easily identified.

In 2012 the format of the “Periodic Inspection Report” was changed and is now superseded by “Electrical Condition Report”, we have upgraded our Amtech software to reflect this.

If we find any non-conformances during our visit, these will be discussed with the customer and with their permission will be rectified. We keep up-to-date and use the following equipment for Inspection and Testing.

    • Megger Multi function testers, calibrated
    • Ideal Suretest circuit tracing equipment
    • Amtech Fast Test Plus latest software
    • Seaward PAT testers, calibrated

We also offer our customers a PAT testing service
